Iris Boser -
Three Petal Pottery
Three Petal Pottery officially came to life in March 2020, but its roots run much deeper. Iris, the creative force behind the pottery, studied fine arts and ceramics in college, laying the foundation for her artistic journey. Life, however, took her down a different path as she became an electrician with the IBEW, dedicating over 15 years to the trade.
After nearly a decade-long hiatus from pottery, Iris rediscovered her passion in 2015 while living in Hawaii with her husband, Luke. There, she immersed herself in a small clay studio near the base of Koko Head, reigniting her love for ceramics. In 2017, the couple moved back to Alaska, where Iris began assembling the tools and materials needed to create a small home studio.
The vision of Three Petal Pottery truly blossomed in 2020. With the birth of their second child, Iris chose to stay at home, creating the perfect opportunity to focus not only on her family but also on her lifelong love for pottery. Today, every piece crafted at Three Petal Pottery reflects Iris's journey—a blend of artistry, resilience, and the wild beauty of Alaska.

Jenny Ditto - Midnight Potter
Jenny Ditto is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Anchorage. She has 40 years of pottery experience. She first witnessed wheel throwing in 3rd grade and her doom was immediately sealed. She could hardly wait to try wheel throwing in High School.
She taught wheel throwing classes at a recreation center in Anchorage for six years, before opening Midnight Potter Studios, and later, Clay Art Space, where she continues teaching her techniques to the people of her home town. She presents her own curriculum & teaching style for successful wheel thrown pottery in as little as one month (impressive!). She also leads workshops for making Hand-Print tiles, Raku Firings, Throw Downs and birthday parties on the wheel.
She is interested in building an art facility in Anchorage for Clay, Glass, & Metal art mediums. She is looking for people who support creating a cooperative work space facility utilizing art mediums in clay, metal, and glass to be located in midtown Anchorage.
100% of her pottery sales go towards current & future artistic facility developments. Your purchase today also supports donations she makes of her pottery to non-profit fund-raising organization that support Anchorage’s community. When you support her efforts, you help support Anchorage’s community & cultural development.
She donates pottery to organizations that meet her requirements:
Anchorage Ski Club at Arctic Valley Ski Area's Annual Auction, and United Way of Anchorage via NANA-WorleyParsons Annual Auction.
She uses recycled materials in her studio and accepts donations of materials.
Her pottery is functional for the home, garden, kitchen, bath, and decorative for home or personal wear. She works with mid-range porcelain & stoneware clay, low-fire ceramic & raku clay.
Her pottery & ceramic works include:
Large & Small Bowls
Mugs, Tumblers, Cappuccino Cups & Saucers

Lynne Jablonski - Chugach Clay and Fiber Arts
Clay has been a part of my life since 2002, and I'm continually inspired by the way it allows me to create both functional and decorative pieces. My work is a reflection of my curiosity- whether it;s exploring new glaze combinations, experimenting with textures, or simply enjoying the process of shaping something with my hands. Studying ceramics at the University of Alaska Anchorage helped me develop a deeper appreciation fro the craft, but I am always learning and evolving. Through Chugach Clay and Fiber Arts, I hope to share pieces that are both beautiful and useful, bringing a little joy in to everyday moments.
